What is Aburasoba?

Aburasoba is a noodle dish similar to ramen, but instead of broth, the flavors come from our special blend of oils and sauces.

Here at Kajiken, we focus on our fresh homemade noodles made specifically for Aburasoba, mixed with our secret sauces and specially selected toppings.

about kajiken

Kajiken began in 2010 when our founder, Kaji Kenichi, stumbled upon Aburasoba. At first bite, he was overwhelmed by the complexity of flavors and textures from such a simple-looking dish. It was clear his mission is to share Aburasoba with everyone in the world. Since then, Kajiken has expanded internationally to China, Singapore, and the United States.

My story is very similar to Kaji’s. I stumbled upon Aburasoba in 2011 when I studied abroad in Tokyo and from the first bite, Aburasoba became my favorite food of all time. I still remember eating Aburasoba after dance rehearsals with my friends. This noodle dish was a commonality that my friends and I all shared love for and allowed us to strengthen our bond even more. With that, Aburasoba is more than just food for me. To me, Aburasoba symbolizes friendship, nostalgia, dreams, and aspirations. I want to share all this with you. So, what does Aburasoba mean to you?
